A practical playbook of the highest-impact reliefs, plus director's remuneration modelling and a 2026/27 key-figures reference card.

Regional FAQs

Working with us, wherever you are based

The same proactive, cloud-based service for businesses throughout the United Kingdom.

Do you work with businesses outside London?

Yes. Around half our client base is outside Greater London. We are fully cloud-based on Xero, so onboarding a Manchester, Birmingham or South East limited company works in the same way as onboarding a company in the City. Quarterly reviews take place by video, with annual planning meetings available in person.

Are tax reliefs different in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?

Income tax bands differ in Scotland and some devolved reliefs apply in Wales and Northern Ireland. However, the corporate reliefs covered in this guide—including R&D, Full Expensing, Employment Allowance, AIA and benefit-in-kind rules for electric vehicles—apply throughout the UK.

Can a London-based accountant understand a regional SME?

Yes. We work with more than 175 UK limited companies, many run by international or out-of-London founders. HMRC deadlines and Companies House filings are national, while our advice is adapted to each company's sector, location and growth plans.

Do you offer in-person meetings in Manchester or Birmingham?

Yes, on request, usually for annual planning, R&D scoping or share-scheme work. Day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and management accounts are handled remotely on Xero, avoiding unnecessary travel costs.
